Summary: This hands-on course demonstrates how to take advantage of self-service business intelligence using Microsoft PowerPivot for Excel. Topics include:
  • Connecting to external data sources including SQL Server databases and Analysis Services cubes
  • Building PowerPivot data models
  • Calculations, aggregations and date functions using Data Analysis Expression language (DAX)
  • Best practices with PowerPivot
Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the delegate should be proficient with PowerPivot and have the necessary skills to implement PowerPivot applications and perform data analysis using real-world scenarios.
