Summary: This scenario-based presentation details how to use SQL Server 2008/2008 R2 Reporting Services (SSRS) to design a robust reporting solution to support a BI solution.
Objectives: Upon completion of this presentation, the delegate should be competent to:
  • Identify and manage report data
  • Create reports using tools such as Report Wizard, Report Designer and Report Builder 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0
  • Create different types of reports, such as tables, matrices, charts and gauges
  • Group data in rows and/or columns
  • Add expressions to reports
  • Add parameters to reports
  • Manage and secure reports
  • Render reports in Excel/Word
  • Etc.
