Summary:	This course is designed to assist DB2 UDB system administrators in monitoring and tuning the DB2 for LUW system. In particular, emphasis is placed on: Memory usage Buffer pool tuning Prefetching I/O design Table design Index design Configuration parameters Etc.
Objectives:	Upon completion of this presentation, the participant should be able to: Manage and establish performance objectives Review and interpret performance data Configure and tune the DB2 UDB system Scale the configuration (e.g., Adding a partition(s)) Optimise capacity (e.g., Memory, logging, etc.) Optimise database organisation and placement.
